How to Achieve Success In Building Your Business

If you’re reading this blog post, it is likely because you’ve realized a few things about starting your own business in network marketing. For one, it’s far from EASY.

Too many people get into this industry with the wrong mindset from the get-go. More often than not, this business is painted as a get-rich-quick scheme… put a few hours in here and there and that’s all there is to it – come out on the other side with your pockets full of cash. That is just not reality.

The other is rejection, which I covered in a recent post here. Unless you have previously held a sort of sales position where you were exposed to a high level of rejection (or maybe an actor trying to make it in Hollywood), the amount of NO’s you hear when first starting into this can be tough to stomach for most folks. SUCCESS IS ACTUALLY NOT SO HARD

The bottom line is that success in this industry, while not easy, is not so hard to come by. We as humans have a fantastic ability to complicate things, especially when it comes to having success with talking to people.

So what is it that makes us so dang ineffective at times and for many, burn out so quickly? After all, all you’re really doing is inviting someone over to your place (or a friend’s) to watch a short DVD and hang out.

The mental blocks are numerous: maybe they won’t like it; I might sound stupid; I don’t know everything about the product; what if they say no?; they don’t seem like the type to buy into this sorta thing, and the list goes on.

Well, I want to give you some simple tips for not only how to have more success with Yoli, but also…

3 SIMPLE TIPS FOR GUARANTEEING SUCCESS BUILDING YOUR TEAM

1. A Positive Mental Attitude

When was the last time you saw a motivational speaker or another successful presenter for an event who just put off an air of negativity so thick, it was like they bathed in it that morning? Never!

You see, whatever general vibe you tend to have about life is what you will carry around with you. Have you ever been in the presence of a negative person for more than an hour? It begins to suck the life out of you a bit.

Likewise, a positive energy can only rub off on people. Even the grumpiest of people can be turned around by a solid attitude and mindset about things. Your team will look to you for this boost, so meet them with some good positivity to keep things going.

A great metaphor for this would be akin to a dark room with no lights. What happens even when one small light illuminates? The impact is tremendous. Be a light to those around you.

2. Keep On Sharing

This one is a biggie. The easiest and most effective way to get over a “NO” is to remember that we have so many people who really NEED what we have.  I’ve seen tens of thousands of teary eyes from the fact that someone shared with them.  Continuing to share by leading with your friend’s need will almost always bring you out of a pit, no matter how deep it is.

You are only as far along as the last time you shared the product or your story.

Simply put, sharing is the only way to change the status quo. You are only as far along as the last time you shared the product or your story. Get back out there and keep doing it over and over… people need what you have to offer them!

3. Quitting Is Not an Option

When an easy “safe” alternative exists, it will always linger in the back of your mind, calling out when times get tough. However, you can’t entertain this thought. In fact, it’s crucial the temptation is removed altogether.

You may even come to a point in your network marketing career where you just admit, “I’ve failed.” Nonsense. Every failure is in reality a true BLESSING, a learning experience to refine and retool how you go about doing things. It is the combination of successes and failures over time that allow people to reach incredible milestones. Quitting, on the other hand, is simply not an option.

Here’s a great promise from God that you can turn back to when times get tough.  “And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up.” Galatians 6:9

In conclusion, I hope you will put these 3 simple principles to use and continue on your way to massive success in building your team.
